Also, can anyone help me find a FIC?! I don't even know how to search for it. The Doctor Who fandom is too large. I don't know how I ran into it originally.

Anyway, this fic is almost like a Family of Blood AU, but only in the sense that the Doctor forgets who he is and thinks he's a human man with a wife and children. Essentially, he's been kidnapped and people are trying to steal his brain in a JAR. And Rose, Jackie, and Jack are trying to rescue him, but him being an amnesiac isn't helping matters. Does this strike a bell with anyone?

In other news, I am watching Classic Who with Tom Baker and Lalla Ward. I love Romana II. Love, love, love. I also maybe want her pink coat. Heh.

Also, I wrote a fic! I've been working on a prompt for therose_lives Getting-From-There-To-Here Ficfest. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to beta?? I am looking for some constructive critique, some help on developing the themes, and the regular beta stuff (like making sure I stay in a single tense and that I make sense...) You can comment here if you're interested in helping! It's less than 4,500 words.

Have been binging on everything Christopher Eccleston's been in lately!! We were sorely shorted when he opted to play Nine for only one series of Who so I've been researching what made him such an "unlikely... but the right choice" for the character (according to Julie Gardener and Russel T Davies).

After much reading throughout the DW fandom, I've come to realize that opinions are sharply divided with regards to a certain episode. Namely, one of my favorites: "Girl in the Fireplace." I notice a lot of D/R shippers have a lot of hate for it, while others (often non-shippers) love it without reserve.
I personally love the episode, especially as a shipper. It's in my top 5 for Doctor Who episodes. And here is why:

I customized it to match the header I made. Pretty simple. Billie Piper is lovely. I stuck with a grey pallet because I'm still new to customizing CSS sheets and figuring out all the color changes was giving me a headache.

I also made a second header. I love the original images. The colors are rich and I just LOVE the look on Nine's face in both shots. His eyes are almost always on Rose, in any incarnation. It makes my shipper heart sigh.
