Oh Pushing Daisies!!! =) So happy you asked. It's got the weirdest story summary I've heard in awhile for a TV show.
Our leading man is Ned (played by the fantastic Lee Pace) who has a gift: one touch from Ned can bring life back to the dead. A second touch sets them back. If he doesn't touch them in a minute, they'll stay alive, but something else has to die in their place. He lived a quite life as a pie maker/private investigator until along came his murdered childhood sweetheart (played by the lovely Anna Friel). And of course he brought her back, giving her life, but at the same time condemning them to never touch again. It's also got Chi McBride and Kristin Chenoweth.
It's quirky, it's morbid, it's funny as hell. I've heard it described as a love child between a Tim Burton and Joss Whedon production and I'd agree it's fairly accurate. It's from the same creator of Wonderfalls (another underrated gem of a show) and Dead Like Me, Bryan Fuller.
I would reommend it. Although if you don't enjoy the pilot, I wouldn't bother. Some people don't get the humor (my mum finds it too morbid) and some people hate the narrator.
The first season is only nine episodes long and each one is awesome and consistent throughout the whole series run. It's coming back in fall and I am sooo excited.
Farscape is awesome. Where are you at in your watching??
